Maryland sophomore Sean Mosley didn’t exactly enjoy the merriest Christmas of his life last week.

Such was the case Friday night, when Mosley twisted his left ankle toward the tail end of practice after colliding with Adrian Bowie.
Given the choice of playing Mosley at 70 percent or letting him heal up for Maryland’s next game, Gary Williams opted to take the safe route heading into what became a 72-59 defeat of Florida Atlantic.
“He probably could have played some if we needed him, but we want him 100 percent for William and Mary on Wednesday,” Williams said. “He should be there. If he’s ready to go, he’ll be in the starting lineup.”
