This was a week to make a few corrections on my AP basketball ballot.

Good thing, too, because I’ve only got it for another week.

There’s a lot of lousy things about the clock ticking on gainful employment. Very low on the list, but worth mentioning anyway, is that the AP has this pesky rule a voter has to have an actual job to continue to send in a valid ballot every week.

(Hope everyone has their dry humor detectors working this week. This is only the start of what could be an especially subtle-yet-snarky farewell. And, no, I don’t blame the AP one bit for its policy.)

However, I still retain a ballot for the moment. And, yes, it will be published here just like always.
