There is an exceptionally nifty addition to Navy’s basketball game notes: A game-by-game look at plus-minus.
Loyal readers know of my affinity for the stat in basketball, which certainly isn’t an end-all, be-all. But it has its purposes, and if a team is unusually good or unusually bad with one player on the floor, this is a way to detect that pattern beyond instinct.

So with that in mind, it’s actually possible to dissect the Mids’ play not just for a single game but also over the course of the season.
