ANNAPOLIS —- Kaleo Kina played all of 3:20 in the first half.

Chris Harris didn’t play the final 7:26 of the half.

Navy had a stretch of nearly a dozen minutes in which it scored eight points.

Yet the Midshipmen are still winning.

This wasn’t a half for the instructional tapes, but one guy who made a significant difference was Jordan Sugars.

The freshman played almost precisely 13 minutes, and he didn’t score until late in the half. But he was an effective placeholder for Kina and Harris, who figure to be well rested when the second half begins.

One thing Navy didn’t do especially well was work it inside. If the Mids can do that, Lehigh will have an exceptionally difficult time staging a rally.
