Just a little morsel of news from Miami to start the morning.

The Hurricanes have suspended backup point guard Eddie Rios indefinitely, per the Miami Herald. It’s the second time he’s been suspended this season.

It would not seem a huge loss, since Lance Hurdle is Miami’s top point guard and Rios hasn’t played more than 17 minutes in a game since Hurdle reclaimed a starting spot in late November. But it is one less option, and Maryland has already been the beneficiary of one absence (Georgia Tech’s Zachery Peacock) in league play.

Check back later for more on the Hurricanes in the Out-of-Town Q&A series.
