There’s plenty more on Navy point guard O.J. Avworo coming tomorrow, but it was really telling what Navy’s scoring margin was when he was on the court (and off it) tonight in a 75-70 defeat of Wofford.

The sophomore, who had a career-high 12 points to go along with eight assists, played 32 minutes. The Mids held a 64-50 edge in that time.

In the stretch Avworo was on the bench, Wofford held a 20-11 advantage.

Plus-minus isn’t always the best tool on a single-game basis. But since Avworo was +14 and the rest of his teammates were a combined +11, it’s safe to say he was the crucial player as Navy improved to 10-4.
