It could be worse for Maryland.

It could be losing at home to Harvard.

That’s the fate of Boston College tonight, so all is not lost.

But Maryland looks very much like a team going through the motions tonight.

Poor shooting, and more to the point, settling for the first shot. Morgan State has done its usual job of working the offensive glass. Toss in some slow work back to the defensive end and 10 turnovers, and Maryland is certainly struggling.

Foul trouble, to both Adrian Bowie and Dino Gregory, hasn’t helped either. But that is far from the main reason Maryland is barely ahead at the break.
