Gotta get out of College Park (finally), but wanted to pass along the injury updates in quick-hitter fashion.

The biggest of them all is linebacker Alex Wujciak, who had knee surgery and will miss the spring. Coach Ralph Friedgen said Wujciak will be out six months but should be back in time for next season.

This will make Maryland’s linebacker corps perilously thin during the spring. Hope Adrian Moten, Demetrius Hartsfield and anyone else with a number in the 50s is ready for a whole lot of reps in April.

Also out for the spring: Fullback Cory Jackson, wideout LaQuan Williams, fullback Paul Lariviere and linebacker Ben Pooler.

Guys who Friedgen is optimistic will be back: Ronnie Tyler, Tyler Bowen and Kevin Dorsey.

Guy who is iffier: Dominique Herald.

That’s it for now. Time to battle traffic.
