Tonight’s games aren’t over, but I have an early-morning flight and would like to get a few pieces of business out of the way early.

Namely, the bubble tracker and bubble review.

So here’s some games to keep an eye on throughout Wednesday:

* Providence vs. DePaul, noon: The Blue Demons look to spoil another bubble team’s resume. To be fair, they already did some damage to the Friars, making Providence’s sweep of Cincinnati look worse. A win today does little for Providence, but a loss means the Dunkin’ Donuts Center can put up an NIT date on its marquee.

* Baylor vs. Nebraska, 12:30: Neither team is a factor at this point, and both should land in the NIT. The winner will occupy a spot near the bottom of tomorrow night’s at-large board. The loser is toast.

* Notre Dame vs. West Virginia, 7: So the Fighting Irish survived to see another day. Did you know Notre Dame’s defeat of Rutgers (RPI: 191) tonight was the Irish’s third best win away from South Bend (along with beating Texas in Maui and winning at Providence)? It’s true. Translation: There’s a lot more work to be done. A lot.

The rest is pretty tame. Oklahoma State and Texas A&M are likely safe. It’s the first day of the A-10 tournament, so nothing interesting there. The first day of the Pac-10 tournament has little of note. Same goes for Conference USA. The SEC, Big Ten and ACC don’t get underway until Thursday, and none of the league title games tomorrow feature a bubble team.
