ATLANTA —- The relevant games involving marginal NCAA tournament teams are in the books for the night.
Notre Dame‘s hopes were quickly euthanized, and while the Irish got within single digits of West Virginia in the second half, it was never really close.

Providence avoided disaster by fending off DePaul. Oklahoma State, which was probably safe anyway, repelled Iowa State.
Baylor really doesn’t have a viable profile, but the Bears did beat Nebraska. As a result, they’ll be worth a mention tomorrow.
So in summary: Notre Dame is toast, but not much else really happened on the at-large board. That should change here in the next 28 hours.
