It’s a day of no updates in College Park.

Dino Gregory? “It is what it is,” according to coach Gary Williams.

Jin Soo Choi? It seems likely he won’t play with a sprained ankle, though Williams wouldn’t come out and say it.

“You never know,” Williams said. “I think that’s the great thing about coaching. It’s never an exact science. You might see some interesting four men out there against Fairfield. James [Padgett] can play four and five, and obviously Landon [Milbourne] has played the four for us for a year and a half. But it gets thin pretty quick.”

So who might those “interesting four men” be? A good bet is Sean Mosley, who acknowledges the frontcourt situation with Choi likely not to play.

“Anything I can do to help the team out as far as coach wanting me to play the four and do whatever,” Mosley said. “I think it’s to my advantage running  four guards and one big, because I think there’s an advantage for me taking my man off the dribble if I’m having a big guy playing me.”

There’s a good chance we find out just how right or wrong he is tomorrow night.
