Just got the ACC’s game times for Nov. 21.
Well, one of them. And it’s not Maryland.
Instead, the Terps will have to wait until Sunday to learn if they’ve been 360ed yet again. Instead, they’re in limbo as ABC/ESPN mercifully uses its final six-day option.
That, by the way, means there won’t be a long wait to determine the game time for the Nov. 28 date with Boston College in half-full (or half-empty, depending on your viewpoint) Byrd Stadium.
The rundown for the Nov. 21 games:
Duke at Miami, Noon, ESPN2 or ESPNU
North Carolina at Boston College, TBA
Virginia at Clemson, TBA
Maryland at Florida State, TBA
N.C. State at Virginia Tech, TBA
Pretty clearly, the Virginia-Clemson and North Carolina-Boston College games have the potential for carrying the most meaning, especially if both Clemson and BC win this week.
If Georgia Tech upends Duke this weekend, well, Duke-Miami and N.C. State-Virginia Tech will be void of any long-term ramifications, though Miami still has a shot at a BCS berth.
And as for why Maryland-Florida State had to be held? Unless it has something to do with the possibility it will be Bobby Bowden‘s final home game, there isn’t a really rational answer.
