Not a whole lot from the ACC teleconference today. Coach Ralph Friedgen did mention he still thinks the Terps will get Demetrius Hartsfield and Da’Rel Scott back for the Nov. 21 game at Florida State.

A couple other takes on his end. …

On Ben Pooler, who started for Hartsfield and suffered an injury of his own last year:

“Since he’s been back, I’ve seen a whole new intensity about him. I thought he was practicing very well. We’d played him 10 or 12 plays a game because Demetrius Hartsfield was playing so well. Demetrius is a redshirt freshman, and Ben’s a redshirt sophomore. He’s like a lot of kids right now, who are good players who are just young.

Also, on Duke QB Thaddeus Lewis’ performance Saturday:

“The way he threw the ball sat on a wet day was really extraordinary.”

Friedgen only got two questions, and that was that.

More to come from him later in College Park.
