The latest piece of Maryland’s basketball schedule is in place: Albany will pay a visit to Comcast Center on Dec. 28.

The Great Danes went 16-16 last season, finishing with an RPI of 216.

It will be the first meeting between the two schools.

Maryland is 22-1 all-time against current members of the America East, including games against Boston U. (3-1), Maine (2-0), New Hampshire (1-0), Stony Brook (1-0), UMBC (13-0) and Vermont (2-0).

With that nugget in place, there are only four nonconference slots remaining on the Terps’ schedule. The full ACC schedule is typically revealed by the league before Labor Day.
