The second update of Navy’s depth chart during the preseason didn’t lead to much change among starters.

One player who appears to solidified a starting job is senior cornerback David Wright, who no longer listed with Kwesi Mitchell as a co-starter. Mitchell remains a starting option at either the other cornerback spot or at rover.

A look at other tweaks less than two weeks before the Mids’ opener:

* Freshman Jake Zuzek and junior Matt Couch have flip-flopped positions. Zuzek is the No. 3 left guard, while Couch is the No. 3 right guard

* The scrum of possible starters at left tackle —- David Sumrall, Andrew Barker and Graham Vickers —- is now listed as the backup to right tackle Ryan Basford.

* Senior slotback Mike Stukel is not listed on this depth chart was added to this depth chart

* Freshman punter Pablo Beltran is now the top holder, ahead of safety Brian Blick

* Blick is now a co-No. 3 at rover rather than free safety

* Gary Myers and Matt Aiken are now co-starters at punt return; Myers was the sole starter previously

* Myers is also a No. 2 cornerback; he was previously a co-No. 3 at rover

* Evan Paleilei was added as a co-third stringer at defensive end

* Brye French is now a second-team outside linebacker. Jordan Tate was added as a third-team outside linebacker. Cody Peterson is not listed on this depth chart
