Maryland will visit Philadelphia to play Temple on Jan. 21 in a return game for last year’s BB&T Classic, according to the Owls’ nonconference schedule released Wednesday.

The game will be played at the Palestra, providing a local but off-campus venue —- much like last season’s game was contested at Verizon Center.

Temple won last year’s meeting 64-61.

With that date locked in right in the middle of Maryland’s conference schedule, here’s the latest look at the Terps’ schedule in coach Mark Turgeon‘s first season:

Nov. 13: UNC Wilmington (per Wilmington Star News)
Nov. 17-18, 20:
Puerto Rico Tip-Off (Alabama, Colorado, Iona, Purdue, Temple, Western Michigan, Wichita State)
Nov. 25: Florida Gulf Coast
Nov. 29:
Illinois (ACC/Big Ten Challenge)

Dec. 4?: vs. Notre Dame in the BB&T Classic at Verizon Center (assumes usual first-Sunday-in-December BB&T slot)

Jan. 21: vs. Temple (at the Palestra)
