Folks paying attention the last couple weeks might have noticed Maryland offensive coordinator Gary Crowton working from the booth rather than on the field.

That’s notable because Crowton started the season on the field.

“I just felt it would be better for him to be up in the box and we went that way the week before —- just from the standpoint I thought it would be easier for him to see everything he needed to see and get him off the sideline where sometimes, especially at home, it’s very crowded down there and it’s hard to move around and everything else,” coach Randy Edsall said. “Really, it’s just so he can see everything a bit better and take everything in and have a lot more room to himself.”
