Lost in Sammy Watkins Mania and C.J. Brown running wild for Maryland and Clemson scoring at will in the second half was an interesting tertiary storyline in Saturday’s game at Byrd Stadium.
Maryland tight end Matt Furstenburg rolled up 104 yards and two touchdowns on five receptions, becoming the first Terrapin tight end to reach triple figures in receiving yards since Vernon Davis.
