For the fifth time in six games, Maryland’s starting quarterback didn’t finish a contest.
In this case, coach Randy Edsall said Terrapins planned to use both C.J. Brown and Danny O’Brien in Saturday’s 28-17 loss to Boston College.

Brown started and was 2-for-6 for 14 yards and an interception. O’Brien entered early in the second quarter and was 14 of 35 for 165 yards, a touchdown and an interception.
“We had a plan going into the game where we were going to play them both,” Edsall said. “We were just following our plan there. What we’ll do is evaluate the film and make a decision that we feel can help [to] best go and beat Virginia.”
In other words, it sounds like it could be yet another game-time decision next week for Maryland (2-6, 1-4 ACC).
