It’s a busy day for football scheduling items, with Maryland learning its Sept. 8 game at Temple will start at noon.

ESPNU will handle the broadcast of the game from Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field.


The Terrapins’ first three games will all be played in the afternoon, the first time since at least 1997 they don’t play a night game among their first three contests.

The updated Maryland schedule:

Sept. 1: William and Mary, 3 (ESPN3)
Sept. 8: at Temple, Noon (ESPNU)
Sept. 15: Connecticut, 12:30 (ACC Network)
Sept. 22: at West Virginia, TBA

Oct. 6: Wake Forest, TBA

Oct. 20: N.C. State, TBA
Oct. 27: at Boston College, TBA

Nov. 3: Georgia Tech, TBA
Nov. 10: at Clemson, TBA
