Lawmakers could face a $1 billion shortfall for next year’s budget and Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller plans to call lawmakers back to Annapolis after Labor Day for budget hearings.


“There’s not going to be any more tax increases, and everyone is going to have to accept their proper share,” Miller told The Daily Record.
