An MRI on the strained right knee of Wizards forward Antawn Jamison revealed no structural damage and that the All-Star forward, who averaged 21.6 points and 10.4 rebounds last season, will not miss any regular season playing time, a source with knowledge of the situation said a short time ago.

The Wizards are still waiting word on the status of center Brendan Haywood‘s right wrist, which was being examined by a specialist in New York City today. Those findings won’t be as encouraging as Haywood, who is coming off of a career year, is expected to need surgery on the wrist, which was first believed to have been sprained on Oct. 2, the next to last day of training camp.

The Wizards are playing the Memphis Grizzlies in their second preseason game tonight.
