The Wizards have released their preseason schedule, and D.C. area fans will have a chance to see their team live twice. The first matchup, which was announced last week, will be on Oct. 6 in Richmond. The second home game will take place three days later against Dallas at Verizon Center.

The next six preseason games will be played on the road. The Wizards play in Toronto on Oct. 11, at Detroit on Oct. 13, at Cleveland on Oct. 13, at Atlanta on Oct. 19, at Philadelphia on Oct. 20 and at Chicago on Oct. 23. Washington opens the season on Oct. 29 at Dallas.


Other Wizards news: The team is expected to finalize paperwork with Francisco Oberto some time either today or tomorrow, and then introduce him in a 1 p.m. press conference tomorrow (Wednesday).
