Ed Tapscott ran his team through an extensive film session and then a spirited practice following that and said he was pleased with what was accomplished today. At this point in the season he’s throwing in a heavy dose of scrimmages to get the guys to continue to compete while also working on certain aspects of their team and individual games.

The Wizards will take on a different Bulls team than they did the last two times they played — both losses — as Chicago now has Brad Miller at center and John Salmons in the rotation as well.

Said Antawn Jamison: “Seeing what Salmons brings to the table and of course Brad Miller, that’s what that team needed: a big man who can come in and do numerous things and also a solid guy who can score the ball and defend and do other things as well. The two times we played at Chicago, the first time we didn’t play well at all, the second time we tried to make a late push but came up short. This is home court now and after what happened last night, we should definitely come out with a new-found respect for playing tough basketball. We can’t let them out-work you, or out-play you.”
