Despite their impressive numbers (which are very similar to those that earned them All-Star nods last year), Wizards forwards Antawn Jamison and Caron Butler both were left off of the Eastern Conference All-Star team.

The outcome of the coaches’ votes for the squads’ reserves were anounced tonight and obviously, the Wizards‘ league-worst 9-36 record was too glaring a mark against both two-time All-Stars.
Making the Eastern Conference squad as reserves were forwards Chris Bosh (Toronto), Danny Granger (Indiana), Rashard Lewis (Orlando) and Paul Pierce (Boston) along with guards Devin Harris (New Jersey), Joe Johnson (Atlanta) and Jameer Nelson (Orlando).
The Wizards shouldn’t feel too badly, however, considering Boston’s Ray Allen also was left off the squad.
The Western Conference reserves were Chauncey Billups (Denver), Pau Gasol (Los Angeles), Dirk Nowitzki (Dallas), Shaquille O’Neal (Phoenix), Tony Parker (San Antonio), Brandon Roy (Portland) and David West (New Orleans).
