After playing one of the most brutal opening stretches in the league, the Wizards finally get a break. Tonight against the Raptors begins an eight-game runn agianst teams with losing records, and the Wizards — coming off of last night’s loss to Orlando — will try to take advantage of that and pull their way a little further out of this hole they’re in.

Andray Blatche will be back in the starting lineup after being demoted to a reserve role last night for disciplinary reasons.

DeShawn Stevenson, who has missed the last three games with a pinched nerve in his back, on Wednesday morning received an epidural shot to relieve pressure on the nerve that is being pinched by a disc that is slightly off. The pinching has limited the guard’s movements while also shooting pains up and down his legs.

Stevenson last Friday in Boston said he expected to miss roughly 2-1/2 weeks, and the team confirmed on Wednesday that he will be out at least another two weeks while healing. He’ll then be evaluated and the next course of action will be addressed.
