The Washington Wizards haven’t ruled Caron Butler and his problematic left hamstring out for tonight’s game against the Clippers, officially classifying him as a “game-time decision.” But based on what Caron said to me both on Sunday and Monday — that he doesn’t expect to be back for a minute — I doubt he’ll play. Team spokesman Scott Hall, when I checked in with him a bit ago, also said that he thinks it’s rather unlikely that CB will go tonight.



Everyone else is good to go, Hall said.


Tonight gives the Wizards their best chance at a win on this road trip. The Clippers are 16-51, and just a half-game better than the Wizards. The last time the team’s met, in D.C., the Wizards won 106-94.
