The Wizards will be even more shorthanded than before tonight when they play host to the Chicago Bulls. Caron Butler’s hamstring still is bothering him to the point where he can’t play. And Darius Songaila will sit with a pinched never in his neck. Juan Dixon (achilles tendon) is a game-time decision.

The Wizards will start Dominic McGuire and Antawn Jamison at forward, Andray Blatche at center and Nick Young and Mike James at the guard positions.
On the Gilbert Arenas front, Nick Young hadn’t heard the news until I asked him about it, but was excited about the prospects of playing alongside a healthy Arenas for the first time in his career. He said the three-time all-star hasn’t been favoring his knee at all and seems to be completely healthy, and playing with confidence.
Ed Tapscott said that he had a brief conversation with Arenas today, but that they need to go through the correct process in practicing, getting on the same page with the medical staff and then decide if Arenas will play on Saturday. He is hopeful, however.
