The Washington Wizards limp into tonight’s game against the Charlotte Bobcats with only eight healthy players as Caron Butler, Darius Songaila and Juan Dixon join DeShawn Stevenson, Gilbert Arenas, Brendan Haywood and Etan Thomas as inactives.

The Wizards will start Mike James and Javaris Crittenton in the back court with Crittenton running the point, Dominic McGuire and Antawn Jamison at the forward positions and Andray Blatche at center.

Ed Tapscott said switching Nick Young out of the starting lineup wasn’t because of poor play. Instead it’s because of the need for scoring off the bench.

The Bobcats will start guards Raymond Felton, Raja Bell, forwards Gerald Wallace, Boris Diaw and center Emeka Okafor.
