It will be the first time in just under a year that Arenas has been on the floor — his last game being April 27, 2008 in the playoffs against Cleveland.
The starting lineup for Washington is Gilbert Arenas and Dominic McGuire in the back court, Caron Butler and Antawn Jamison at the forward positions and Andray Blatche at center.
The Wizards will be without Mike James for the rest of the season after he broke his right pinky finger in practice yesterday, cracking the bone near the base of the finger. He will have a pin inserted into it on Tuesday and then have it removed four weeks later. James actually had a picture of the X-ray on his iPhone, which was pretty cool to see. Talk about modern technology.
The Wizards will take on a Detroit team that as of late has experienced their share of injuries woes. Richard Hamilton has missed six straight games, Rasheed Wallace has missed nine and Allen Iverson has missed the last 15 games.
