Cornerback Shawn Springs is practicing for the first time since he reinjured his calf in practice on Oct. 16 and linebacker Marcus Washington also has a helmet for the first time since he sprained a shoulder against Pittsburgh on Nov. 3. That means they might be available for Sunday’s big NFC East game with Dallas. Clinton Portis came out to watch practice for the first time this week, but the NFL’s No. 2 rusher is still a longshot to be ready for the Cowboys.
