I’m back out at Redskin Park. The locker room swings open in 20 minutes. Jim Zorn’s at 12:25 p.m. (Also, at noon, I’ll be on “Big O & Dukes” — WJFK 106.7 FM to rehash the game).

The Redskins are tied with Dallas and Atlanta with a 6-4 record, good for a three-way tie for the sixth and final NFC playoff spot. A game behind at 5-5 is NFC North leaders Minnesota, Green Bay and Chicago.

The big talk, I guess, will be about the Redskins offense and rightly so. Some of the more telling numbers… The Redskins are 27th in points. Only Baltimore, Kanas City, Oakland, Detroit and St. Louis have scored fewer points. They’ve fallen to 13th in yards. They were sixth after five games. They’re 20th in passing yards. They were 17th after five games. They’re 21st on third down.

But hey, at least they lead the NFL in interception percentage.
