Shaun Alexander might be just three years removed from being the NFL MVP, but the running back said he’s fine backing up league rushing leader Clinton Portis.

“It’s not going to be hard,” Alexander said. “It’s going to be easy. I told Clinton I want him to rush for 2,000 yards and hopefully do something special that we can all remember. And after that, I want our team to go to the Super Bowl and win it. I’ve been there and not won it.”
