Drew Rosenhaus, Rocky McIntosh’s new agent, is working on a contract extension for the weakside linebacker whose contract expires after this season. Rosenhaus said that he met with executive vice president Vinny Cerrato and vice president of football administration Eric Schaffer at Redskin Park on Thursday.

McIntosh, 26, was second on the defense in tackles in 2007 and 2008, his first two years as a starter. He joins the Rosenhaus stable of clients in Ashburn that also includes running backs Clinton Portis and Rock Cartwright, receivers Santana Moss and Devin Thomas, fullback Mike Sellers, defensive tackle Anthony Montgomery and linebacker London Fletcher.
