The silence was broken from Redskin Park a few minutes ago when executive VP/football operations Vinny Cerrato released a short statement:

“We met with Jason [Campbell] today and had a candid discussion. We told Jason that when Jay Cutler became available we, like many other NFL teams, spoke with the Broncos. We are all on the same  page and we are moving forward.”

Again, nothing about shopping Campbell to another team to acquire enough pieces to  complete the Cutler deal and again, nothing but silence from owner Dan Snyder, who by all accounts was the wheel-man behind the effort to start over at the quarterback position.
