Mike Williams is done for the year after tearing a muscle in his right foot in Sunday night’s 17-0 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Reed Doughty, who limped to his car with a high right ankle sprain, will almost certainly not be able to play in Sunday’s season finale at San Diego.

So the 4-11 Redskins will say good riddance to their horrid 2009 campaign with a seventh change in 14 games at Williams’ right guard spot and with Kareem Moore likely to make his second career start at safety in Doughty’s place.

Coach Jim Zorn has yet to decide whether Will Montgomery, who started Weeks 6-7 at right guard and who replaced Williams in the second quarter against Dallas, will start against the Chargers. Rookie free agent Edwin Williams, who started Week 12, and Paul Fanaika, signed off Philadelphia’s practice squad last month, are the other guards on the roster besides left side starter Derrick Dockery.
