The first full day of workouts have been completed at the NFL scouting combine here in Indianapolis.

For some reason, results are tough to obtain. Reporters aren’t allowed in the stadium to observe and therefore record the results. The NFL Network broadcast is sketchy because of the 40 times they post and they only a certain number of performers.

But some results are starting to trickle in and Maryland tight end Dan Gronkowski had a solid day.

Bench press: Third with 26 reps

20-yard shuttle: Second at 4.26 seconds

60-yard shuttle: Second at 11.72 seconds

Gronkowski entered the combine as the 16th ranked tight end by NFL Draft Scout. He checked in earlier this week at 6-foot-6, 255 pounds and has been working out in Davie, Fla.
