It’s 4 degrees outside the Metrodome but 65 degrees and loud inside the Metrodome.

Great scene around the stadium before the game. Sir Scribble surveyed the scene at Maxwell’s a few blocks from the Dome with a group that included several fellow North Dakotans. Let’s just the group opted to partake in some pregame drinks and the buzz amongst Purple Nation is that the game is a  toss up and everything depends on Tarvaris Jackson. Scrib stuck to water and some pizza rolls.

Baltimore brought some order to the first weekend of games by throttling the Dolphins as the road favorite. Atlanta and Indianapolis fell short as road faves on Saturday.

Next weekend’s matchups are nearly set.

Saturday: Arizona or Minnesota at Carolina; Baltimore at Tennessee

Sunday: Arizona or Phladelphia at NY Giants; San Diego at Pittsburgh

The Game of the Second Round is clearly Titans-Ravens, but if the Eagles win today and go to the Swamp, that’s another intriguing matchup.
