Today in Franklin, Tenn., Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth pled not guilty to two misdemeanor traffic charges.

Haynesworth’s attorney entered the pleas for Haynesworth, who is charged with reckless driving and expired registration from a Dec. 13 incident. Haynesworth was traveling above the speed limit when he tried to pass another car, made contact and the other car crashed. The driver was injured.


If convicted, Haynesworth faces maximum punishment of six months in jail and a $500 for the reckless drivingg and 30 days in jail and a $50 fine for the expired registration.
