You’ve probably heard of and forgotten about Kelley Washington a number of times over the years. If you’re local, you probably read about his exploits at Sherando High in Stephens City, Va., as a quarterback and baseball player. On a national scale, he returned from minor league baseball obscurity as a man among boys in college football with Tennessee; now a wideout, he was profiled in ESPN the Magazine with the headline: “Kelley Washington thinks he’s the next best thing to happen to football.”

Since then, arguably his greatest and most notorious moment came against the Washington Redskins, who according to our own David Elfin offered Washington a contract today.

In the 2006 preseason, while he was still with the Bengals, Washington caught a touchdown pass from the great Anthony Wright and launched into a dance dubbed “The Squirrel.”

Wait out the interview with Mr. Ocho Cinco to see Washington at work and play.
