The Redskins have seemed to made an effort since Jim Zorn was hired to get younger. Veterans like Jon Jansen, Pete Kendall, Marcus Washington and Shawn Springs have been discarded in favor of younger players.
But the Redskins are still the oldest team in the NFL.

According to information released by the league on Wednesday, the Redskins’ average age is 27.60 years.
The Redskins’ average NFL experience of 5.55 years is also the most in the league.
And, one more: The Redskins have 17 players who are age 30 or older — again the most in the NFL.
Green Bay is the youngest team in terms of age (25.70) and experience (3.81).
The Redskins’ averages are slightly skewed because of LS Ethan Albright (38), QB Todd Collins (37) and DE Phillip Daniels (36).
