The Redskins played in Detroit last year and this year because they finished in the same spot in the NFC East that the Lions did in the NFC North.
Next year, the four teams in each division all face each other and since the Redskins visited Green Bay and Minnesota the last time that happened in 2007, the schedule will send them to Chicago and Detroit.
