A day after the Redskins signed quarterback Andre Woodson to their practice squad off waivers from the Giants, New York did a semi-tit-for-tat by signing fullback Nehemiah Broughton to its practice squad off waivers from Minnesota.

Broughton played sparingly in just six games for the Redskins, but he was a near-fixture at Redskins Park. Last summer was the fourth and final one in Washington for the fullback whom the team chose in the seventh round of the 2005 draft.
