All-Pro Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth’s not concerned about starting the season against the Giants’ top-rated running game.

“I don’t really care what they do,” said Haynesworth, a free agent signee from Tennessee. “If they’re going to run the ball, that’s fine with me. That’s easier on the pass [defense]. I’ve played a lot of teams that ran the ball well and [the Titans] stopped them. So I expect the same thing here.”

Asked by ComcastSportsNet’s Chick Hernandez about facing Giants 6-foot-4, 264-pound running back Brandon Jacobs, the 6-6, 330-pound Haynesworth said, “They all fall the same so it really doesn’t matter. None of them are bigger than me. What is he, 250? I weighed 250 when I was in the 10th grade.”
