Despite an Associated Press report to the contrary, there won’t be a rematch between Georgetown and the Bayi Rockets after Thursday’s brawl.
The teams were originally slated to play two games, but the second game was changed before Thursday’s game.

“It was not changed as a result of the situation,” Georgetown spokesman Mex Carey wrote in an email from Shanghai, “but had been changed before that.”
The Associated Press reported the teams would play on Sunday. Instead, Georgetown faces the Liaoning Dinosaurs in Shanhai on Sunday.
