Need a gift for that hard-to-please Washington Nationals supporter? How about the laundry loop used to wash Stephen Strasburg’s clothes after last month’s rehabilitation start for Triple-A Syracuse?

Yes, the right-hander’s laundry loop.

Included in an online auction benefiting the Syracuse Chiefs Charitable Foundation are four items from Strasburg’s start on Aug. 27. Two bids were placed on the orange laundry loop, jumping the price to $16 with a month remaining.

There’s a baseball purported to have been thrown by Strasburg during his pregame warm-up ($50), the black warm-up top he wore ($55) and, the most popular item, his locker nameplate. That attracted eight bids and a price of $51.01 with four weeks and three days remaining in the auction.
