At least one state legislator is taking matters into his own hands where the gargantuan health care bill is concerned. Republican A.G. Crowe, a Louisiana state senator, is floating a bill to make Obamacare illegal in his home state. The measure would prohibit “state or local governmental coercion … to compel participation in any health care system or health insurance plan.”

Crowe, who says the massive health care bill is unconstitutional and violates the 10th Amendment, has also asked State Attorney Gen. Buddy Caldwell to determine whether it violates any state laws or the Constitution.

We know what Caldwell’s answer ought to be: Unless an amendment to the Bill of Rights was passed without our knowledge—and this is the Obama administration, where transparency is said to be such a respected concept—the answer is definitely yes.
