The Media Research Center, the Alexandria, Virginia based conservative media watchdog group founded by Brent Bozell, is holding it’s yearly “Dishonors” gala on Saturday at the National Building Museum in Washington, DC. Going into it’s seventh dinner, MRC will be poking fun at some of the liberal media’s lowest moments while lauding conservative commentators in the press.

Ann Coulter, Neal Boortz, and Andrew Klavan will present ‘dishonors’ in categories like: The Obamagasm AwardOde to Olbermann, and the I’m Not a Political Genius But I Play One on TV Award. Conservative Cal Thomas will be presented with the William F. Buckley Award for Media Excellence.

In addition to hearing music from the southern rock band The Outlaws, Media Research Center’s collection of video clips will entertain audience members.

MRC is the home to the popular Newsbusters website that posts daily clips illustrating daily liberal media bias. Below is one of the more famous and now timeless clips of Chris Matthews  “thrill  moment from 2008 that MRC first highlighted:

Mr. Matthews response to the attention placed on that clip?:”It wasn’t a tingle up my leg. That’s what right wing Fascists said. It was a thrill up my leg.”

Thanks for clarifying, Chris.
