The Occupy Wall Street crowd are almost 20 days into their protest in New York’s downtown financial district. While it was difficult to pin down who the group would like to see in the White House in 2012, one woman was angry at President Barack Obama for not doing enough with creating jobs and believed the jobs bill in Washingotn would be unhelpful. Like many at the OWS gathering she was critical of banks and corporations.
OWS are scheduled to march to New York’s City Hall on Wednesday and were joined by the labor unions. The OWS protest has already spread to cities across the country and is expected to gain further traction in Washington. A number of top lawmakers on the Democratic side of the aisle have already spoken out in favor of OWS’s mission, including Rep. Louise Slaughter, New YorkDemocrat, and Rep. John Larsen, Connecticut Democrat.
