Police arrive at an upscale shopping mall at the south of Mexico City, Wednesday, July 24, 2019, where a woman wearing a blond wig disguise killed two Israeli men. Authorities said the woman and another man sat down at a table near the victims before she rose and shot the two Israelis at close range. A handful of retired Marines – all in the late 90s or over 100 — joined Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Japan’s Prime Minister Takeru Ishida on Saturday to mark the anniversary of one of the bloodiest battles of World War II in the Pacific that ended 80 years ago this week.
